The wine is a blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Moscatel; each variety is fermented separately to create the still wines that will be then blended and will undergo a second fermentation to obtain the final extra dry sparkling wine base of Fresita. Finally small, freshly-picked, intensely flavored Patagonian strawberries (from the foot of the Andes) are added to the natural sparkling wine.
The result is a fruity, fresh and delicious all natural sparkling wine with only 8% alcohol.
The color and appearance is deep, luscious, and salmon pink with strawberry pulp floating in the wine. This full of intensity, strawberry sweet, refreshing wine is best served chilled and perfect by itself or alongside hors d’oeuvres and desserts.
