Tarpy’s Roadhouse located in the historic Ryan Ranch Homestead on Hwy 68 at Canyon Del Rey, announces its 2012 History Dinner which will be held on Wednesday, March 21 at 6:00 p.m.

For one night only, guests will learn the real truth about Matt Tarpy and Rancho Saucito where Tarpy’s Roadhouse now stands.  Listen to Gary Munsinder, talk about how Matt Tarpy went from well- respected rancher to vilified murderer.  Gary, who enjoys the same birthday as Tarpy, is a veteran ghost-hunter with 10 years of experience in paranormal tours of Old Monterey. Intrigued by supernatural events he’s experienced, Gary developed a deep interest in paranormal research and local history and a great awareness for local, historical paranormal locations. Matching in-depth history with legendary paranormal events, Gary will attempt to explain the haunting of several historic adobes and his take on the legends of deceased residents said to be haunting Tarpy’s. He now dedicates much of his time to developing new investigations, researching Old Monterey sites and the publication of his ghost hunting novel.  Spend the evening being regaled about the past, enjoying a tantalizing four-course meal from Chef Michael Kimmel and sipping award-winning wines.  Cost is $75 per person, inclusive.
