COURSE DESCRIPTION

 The principal purpose of this class is to explore the different varietals of wine comparing them through different regions and discovering how terroir can affect a wine.

Through the Wines we will explore the various varietals and we will experience the importance of food and wine pairings.

ABOUT THE PROFESSOR

Cav. Claudio Pastor born in 1972, has lived and traveled through all of the wine producing countries we will be visiting during our Wine Course.

As Executive Director of the Societa’ Dante Alighieri (the Italian Cultural Institute in Miami) he has personally overseen hundreds of wine and cooking classes and their students.

He is political and cultural advisor to the Italian Government through the Societa’ Dante Alighieri in Miami and in 2010 he was bestowed the title of Cavaliere by the President of the Republic of Italy for his service to the country.
