Some of the greatest New World wine values are coming from that tiny strip of land situated between the Andes and the Pacific Ocean, the country of Chile. This dinner will be featuring many of special and unknown gems I have recently discovered from several illuminating trips to the regions of Casablanca, Colchagua and Maipo. Often considered to be in the shadow of the giant wine country of Argentina, I believe there is great diversity and depth of character to be found in many of Chile’s wines. A Chile inspired four course meal prepared by Executive Chef Frank Proto will be paired with exciting new Chilean selections to the Barcelona wine program.
