Comte Edmond de Ayala moved to Champagne area in 1855 to learn the ropes of wine industry. His mentor, Just Albrecht, will share with him his passion for bubbly wine. Few years later he'll create the Maison Ayala, in Ay,

But Champagne is not the only reason why he decided to settle here: Miss Albrecht is more and more present in the young man's life...Love and Champagne, what a wonderfull life right?

Ayala is born from Love, and there's a little bit of it in every bottle.

Come and enjoy the following wines at this free wine tasting:

-Ayala Brut Majeur, part of the Top 100 Wine Enthusiast ranking: The pale gold color of this Champagne is more than a promise, it's an invitation to discover Ayala's fantastic roundness and fruitness . Pinot Noir gives the the wine richness and a long finish while the Chardonnay adds delicacy, liveliness and freshness.

-Ayala Rose Majeur: With its lovely copper glint and light cherry core is enhanced by a beautiful necklace of fine and and long tasting bubbles. This vinous and fleshy wine matches strength of the tannins and extreme tenderness of Chardonnay, which will lead you to a very generous finish.

The only French Champagne house with Latin roots, AYALA was established in 1860 by Edmond de AYALA and has been owned by Bollinger since 2005. AYALA was one of the elite founding members of the "Ivy League" of the top champagne houses, the Syndicat des Grandes Marques de Champagne back in 1882.

Recently reintroduced in the U.S., AYALA has been elected “Winery of the Year 2008” (Ed McCarthy, Wine Review Online), is part of the “Dow Jones Index Champagne Brut NV” (Wall Street Journal), is among the “Top 10 Affordable Champagne” (Food & Wine), is the “Champagne Brightest Star” (Wine Enthusiast) and is in the “Favorite NV champagne list” (Jancis Robinson, Financial Times).

We look forward to seeing you at this event !
