The 8th Annual Taste for Justice presents a Chili Cook-off – an opportunity for all local area restaurants to compete for the Gourmet Gavel Award now in its 4th year! Taste for Justice is being hosted at a WWII airport hangar at Santa Maria airport.
Wineries, breweries and restaurants are invited to come join us to showcase the best of their best!
Restaurants are invited to throw their hat in the ring and register to compete. A panel of judges will decide first, second and third place awards for two categories; non-vegetarian and vegetarian. A separate award will go to the People’s Choice Award winner. Participating restaurants get pre and post event publicity and winner gets bragging rights for ‘Chili Champ’ and will be home to the ‘Gourmet Gavel Award’ that will be housed in their restaurant until the following year’s competition!
