On Wednesday, February 8 at 6:30 p.m., the award-winning Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House in the Galleria will pair with Revana Family Vineyard from Napa Valley for an extraordinary wine dinner.  Dr. Madaiah Revana, a Houston cardiologist and owner and founder of the Revana Family Vineyard, will be in attendance to explain the winery’s history as well as the evening’s wine selections.

Guests will experience five selections from the winery, which will be expertly paired with carefully crafted dishes created by Del Frisco’s Executive Chef Steve Haug and his culinary team. The dishes are designed to bring out the best flavors of the wine and vice versa and include Nantucket bay scallops, duck and leek rillette, mustard crusted filet and much more.

Revana Family Vineyard, located just north of St. Helena in Napa Valley, California is the product of Dr. Revana’s dreams and dedication. While visiting Napa Valley in 1997, Dr. Revana discovered a parcel of land that he believed had a lot of potential to develop premium Bordeaux varieties. After putting together a high quality team, and developing the property, the winery began producing some of California’s most popular wines.

Dr. Revana is not your typical winemaker. As well as supervising the Revana Family Vineyard and taking an active role in the winery he juggles a career as a practicing cardiologist in the Houston community. First introduced to fine wines by a group of friends, Dr. Revana dedicated himself to studying different varietals, and travelled the wine regions of Europe and the United States, learning along the way. Revana Family Vineyard is the culmination of many years of research and determination by a native Houstonian.
