ABOUT DOTTIE'S TRUE BLUE CAFE
Owner Kurt Abner has been serving American Diner breakfast and lunch with a gourmet twist since 1993. Averaging 250 meals per day, 6 days a week, and only two short-order cooks in the kitchen, the production is a study of fantastic organization and zen. Classics include zucchini or black bean cakes with eggs, fresh veggie and sausage scrambles. Everything is made from scratch here, even the homemade toast and jam. The reliably good breakfast has created an international cult following ranked #7 thing to do in SF by Lonely Planet.
