The Wine Varietals Workshop will explore the differences between varietal wines and vintages. Learn to better distinguish between varietals such as Merlot & Malbec, Syrah & Petite Syrah, and Chardonnay & Chenin Blanc.
Test yourself in a blind tasting of several varietals. We will also explore how wines can differ from year to year in smaller vineyards and wineries and potential causes for those differences,
The workshop starts at 7:00 pm with a 9:00 pm planned finish.
Due to the number of wines tasted, please eat dinner beforehand. We will supply palate cleansing snacks.
