Dark red, laid-back, with slightly rustic aromas of currant, chocolate, mocha and leather, the Durigutti Classico 2009 Malbec is supple and suave, yet not overly concentrated. it brings a good inner-mouth energy to the flavors of blackberry, chocolate and mint. although it is rather dry, it delivers a savory finish displaying fine tannins and a lingering chocolate note.

A rich violet hue, this wine opens with an alluring nose of lush red fruit, ripe plums, earth, and blackberries. the palate offers spicy, savory notes, robust tannins, and an intense mouth feel that seamlessly rounds out the finish. this wine pairs well with a variety of heavier fare and will offer a daily respite for lovers of Cabernet Sauvignon and other full-bodied red wines.
