Italy’s Puglia region is known for its hearty, rustic cuisine, the cucina povera that warms the heart and soul.  Ottimista is proud to host visiting chef Laura Giordano, who, for one night only, will take over Ottimista’s kitchen to prepare 4-course Puglian feast, which we’ll serve family style with the fantastic wines of the region.

Don’t miss this rare opportunity to attend a family style dinner with Chef Laura and the team from Southern Visions Travel, a company focused on culinary and cultural trips to Puglia.  The team will be here to introduce the newly opened culinary school, La Cucina at Gelso Bianco, in Puglia’s beautiful countryside, where Laura teaches the cuisine of the region. Come meet Laura and prepare for a fantastic evening of Italian cooking, eating and fun travel talk!  Unless you are planning on heading to Puglia soon, and even if you are, this is a once in a lifetime chance to see what serious Puglian home cooking is all about!
