We'll discover together the following wines, with the information released by Xavier Flouret:
-Xavier Flouret Fe : This Rioja is made only in the finest vintages, and 2005 was a blast : the mild daytime temperatures and the fresh nights led to a perfect maturation. The result is a very aromatic wine, with flushing colors and an excellent taste. The intensity of the fruit will tickle your nose with red fruits and chocolate hints. On your palate, the fruity bouquet and the chocolate notes are sublimed by the extraordinary round structure.
-Xavier Flouret Pavo Real: with 14-months in oak barrel aging, this wine is showing all the greatness of Ribera Del Duero soil. The warm 2005 summer insures the wine a solid structure, with a very dark cherry red color. On the palate, the harmony is almost perfect, mixing between vanilla and red berries flavors.
-Xavier Flouret Marly: This wine from Chablis, the northern part of Burgundy, took advantage of the perfect weather conditions in 2009. The low acidity guarantees a very smooth wine, with fresh citrus and floral notes. The green reflection in the bright yellow color of the wine is an invitation to discover the delicateness of all the flavors of this extremely enjoyable vintage.
-Xavier Flouret French Blonde: Sancerre wines are always very special, this one in particular matches elegance, perfect balance and superb flavors. We are presenting this 2010 vintage because it was a fantastic year for Sancerre. Dry wether, average temperatures. The result is a good balance between acidity and alcohol, showing notes of white flower and a good minerality. The power of the aromas is very remarkable,
