About Peter Wasserman Peter is the son of Becky Wasserman Hone, founder of Selection Becky Wasserman. As the company’s global wine consultant, Peter is based between Burgundy, where the company is headquartered, and New York City. A globe-trotting polyglot, Wasserman’s enviable elevage occurred amidst the Burgundian vines. Wasserman’s American mother Becky elected to launch her own wine business in 1979, thus becoming one of the first women to start a wine brokerage. READ MORE about Peter Wasserman.
About Domaine Nicolas Rossignol Nicolas Rossignol is a
5th generation winemaker in the vineyards of Volnay with an impressive
résumé, including Domaine Joseph Voillot in Volnay and Domaine du Vieux
Télégraph in Châteauneuf du Pape. Establishing his own estate in 1997,
Rossignol’s vineyard holdings include Volnay, Pommard, Beaune, Corton
and Savigny-les-Beaune. Domaine Nicolas Rossignol practices sustainable
farming and focuses on balance and respect for the land, combined with
careful winemaking techniques. These dedicated practices result in
premium quality, lending to great power and complexity in the finished
wines.
About Domaine Dublère An American transplant, Blair
Pethel fell in love with the richness and depth of Burgundian soils, the
genuine nature of the people and of course, the wines. Finally
relocating permanently in 2003, Blair began making wine in 2004 and has
succeeded in establishing a truly extraordinary wine estate in the Côte
de Beaune! Crafting small production wines that reflect their terroir,
Domaine Dublère farms its vineyards with the utmost respect for the soil
and the vine itself, using organic compost, sustainable winegrowing
methods, and meticulous hands-on viticulture practices. The finished
wines exemplify the passion and love for the land that went into their
production.
