Perhaps no other world cuisine can benefit from food and wine pairing as much as French food. After all, the heart of French tradition is rooted in savoring the balance and flavors of the food, both as individual ingredients and complex dishes. A perfect wine pairing only serves to enhance the experience. Get transported to France with Chef Dave Bruno. Each dish will feature the appropriate wine pairings. Menu items include:
Speatzle- A savory dumpling that is actually very easy to make. It’s an excellent addition to any cooks repertoire.
Fleischnaka- An Alsatian dish consisting of minced beef spiced with herbs de province, rolled into a spiral log shape bound by sheets of fresh noodle dough. A fun dish to make to feed a group of friends.
Matelote de poissons d'Alsace- A matelote is a fisherman’s stew made with red wine, mushrooms, and an array of fish. We will be making a version of this stew in this style with locally sourced fish and ingredients
