The Fine Art of Pairing Cheese and Wine
March 9, 2012 (Fri)
from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Boston, MA
Cost: $74 / $64 members
Event ID #406520
Like a fine wine, a well-made cheese can be an amazing experience for your senses—but only if you know what to look for. Join Adam Centamore, cheesemonger from Formaggio Kitchen in Cambridge, as he explores the world of cheese beyond Gouda, cheddar, and Brie. You'll sample a variety of cheeses from around the world while discussing important cheese-related topics, including tasting techniques, the effects of affinage (cheese maturation and ripening), and the different styles of cheese-making that are popular today. A selection of wines will be served to help illustrate the lesson.
