Celebrate Valentine's Day early with the romance of rich red wines:
Canelo Hills Vineyard & Winery celebrates the release of our fantastic new Red Wines, and local products and art from Sonoita-Patagonia craftspeople. We'll release four 2009 wines - the Estate Tempranillo, Sonoita Cabernet Sauvignon, Estate Finalé, and Estate Scavenger's Blend - plus our 2008 Sangiovese Select. All five of the new wines are made on-site from Arizona grapes, and three are Estate wines from Canelo Hills’ own 6.5-acre vineyard.
We’ll be joined by three local craftspeople showing and selling their wares: Sylvia Saenz with paintings, jewelry and papier maché sculpture; The Herb Garden's Joel Blumenthal with herbal products, crafts, tasty treats, and more; and Margaret Aden with creative jewelry.
After the Release Celebration, we'll have only 1 or 2 of these big red wines available on the tasting table each weekend, so don't miss your chance to taste them all at once!
On Saturday, join us also for a special Winemaker's Dinner at Sonoita’s acclaimed Canela Bistro. As part of our Red Release Celebration, Canela will serve a five-course dinner, each course thoughtfully prepared to pair with each of the five new red wines.
