daryl -- the sleek, sophisticated restaurant at The Heldrich Hotel --has been reinvigorated by handsome design changes and (most importantly!) the arrival of Zod Arifai, one of the state's most talked-about chefs, as Executive Chef/Partner.
He's crafted a luxurious four-course prixe-fixe menu for Valentine's Day, featuring new dishes and favorites from Blu in Montclair. For starters, choose from East Coast Oysters, Red Wine Risotto w/Wild Mushrooms, Seafood Salad, Beet-Goat Cheese Salad. Second Course: Linguini w/Seafood, Mahi w/Forbidden Black Rice, and more. Third: Filet Mignon w/Wild Mushrooms, Duck Breast w/Braised Red Cabbage, Veal Skirt w/Cauliflower. Dessert options? Zod's unique take on Creme Brulee, Mocha Mousse, Coconut Sorbet, or Chocolate Cake.
