Silver Oak will celebrate the release of their newest vintage, the 2007 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, at Release Day on February 4th, 2012. The event also kicks off festivities for Silver Oak’s 40th Anniversary, which will be celebrated this summer with a cross-country tour of the winery’s water tower, recognizable from its iconic label.

Guests will be the first to taste Silver Oak’s latest vintage. In addition to wine tastings, entertainment and events include:

Oakville:

• Tastings from Top Local Chefs: Enjoy taste satiating sliders from local chefs who make them best, including Darren McRonald of Brassica, Stephen Barber of Farmstead, Greg Cole of Cole’s Chop House, Joey Ray of Barbers Q and Ken Frank of La Toque
• 40th Anniversary Tower Tour: Be the first to see the airstream and mini water tower that will serve as a tasting room on wheels as it visits America’s historical icons
• Live artwork from Thomas Arvid: See original art as well as works in progress from the critically acclaimed wine painter

Geyserville:

·         Gourmet Lunch: Enjoy lunch provided by Chef John Sorenson Catering and Josh Silvers of Jacksons Bar and Oven

·         Live Music: Enjoy acoustic folk band Forks and Tables and gypsy swing band Beso Negro
