The South Bay Left Bank Brasseries in San Jose and Menlo Park will be celebrating Mardi Gras all day on Tuesday, February 21 by featuring a la carte menu specials in the spirit of the occasion, plus the regular a la carte menu will also be served.
At the Left Bank in Santana Row, the dinner menu will include Oysters Rockefeller, baked oysters on the half shell with baby spinach, garlic butter, Pernod, crisp bacon and Louisiana spices ($16.95); Écrevisses et Crevettes a l’étouffée, crayfish and rock shrimp gumbo stew with Creole seasoned rice ($23.75); and Beignets, banana fritters topped with powdered sugar, served with chicory café au lait ($7.75).
Menlo Park dinner guests will be able to enjoy Cajun Sweet Potato fried in duck fat with Creole seasoning ($4.25); Oysters Rockefeller, baked oysters on the half shell with baby spinach, garlic butter, Pernod, crisp bacon and Louisiana spices ($14.75); Rock Shrimp Beignets with Cajun aïoli and Creole spiced citrus coleslaw ($16.25); Duck and Andouille Jambalaya with crawfish and long grain rice simmered with Creole seasoning ($22.75); Blackened Catfish Fillet with Southern red rice, bacon and Cajun trinity favorite aromatic vegetables ($18.95); Brennan’s Bananas Foster flambéed with dark rum, brown sugar and cinnamon, with vanilla ice cream ($6.25); and Beignets, warm fritters with powdered sugar, cinnamon, and chicory espresso pot de crème ($6.25).
