Market City Caffe is setting the stage early for romance this year with the first wine dinner of 2012, the “Lover’s Wine Dinner" featuring wine from Terre Rogue & Easton Wineries.
Special guest, winemaker Bill Easton, will be on hand to
speak about the different selections and why they are paired with each dish.
The 5-course meal created by Chef Salvador Ambriz, offers:
Lobster Risotto, 2010 Easton Sauvignon Blanc, Sierra Foothills
Fresh Fig & Baby Arugula Salad, 2009 Terre Rouge Vin Gris d’Amador, Sierra Foothills
Heart-Shaped Three-Cheese Ravioli, 2009 Easton Zinfandel, Amador County
Filet Mignon & Grilled Shrimp, 2007 Terre Rouge Syrah, DTR Ranch, Estate, Fiddletown
Mascarpone & Ricotta Lemon Cheesecake, 2009 Easton Wines Obscura Zinfandel, Fiddletown, Very Rare Late Harvest
