Kosher wines from all corners of the world and dishes from more than 20 tri-state kosher restaurants and caterers will be the centerpiece of the Sixth Annual Kosher Food and Wine Experience at Pier 60/Chelsea Piers on Monday, February 13, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The Kosher Food and Wine Experience (#KFWE2012) is the most comprehensive tasting of kosher wines in North America and will showcase more than 200 wines from 40 wine producers as well as an extensive selection of kosher liqueurs. Open to the public, admission to KFWE2012 is $100 per person. Visit http://kfwe2012.com to reserve.  Follow events at Twitter.com @KFWE2012.

Debuting at KFWE2012 will be several new wines including Pacifica Brands from Oregon, the first exclusively kosher winery in the Pacific Northwest, a new Herzog single vineyard wine from Napa’s Mt. Veeder and an “Old Vine” Cabernet from The Cave in Israel.

Complementing the array of wines from all over the world will be some of the tri-state area’s premier kosher restaurants and caterers.  Some of the restaurants and caterers participating this year are: Le Marais, ETC Steakhouse, Pardes, Gemstone Caterers and Pomegranate.

New to KFWE2012 are guest mixologists concocting cocktails from a selection of liqueurs and semi-sweet wines, one of the hottest segments in the wine market.  Brands featured include Italy’s Bartenura, Israel’s Morad Fruit wines, Netherland’s Walder’s liqueurs and Schmerlings from Israel.

The Kosher Food and Wine Experience is sponsored by Royal Wine Corp., the leading producer,  importer and marketer of award-winning kosher wines and spirits from around the world.
