The excitement of using the enchanting riverside Windsor Castle Park as the festival location, combined with the historically great tradition of local hospitality - the Smithfield Wine & Brew Fest weekend is guaranteed to be the year’s most anticipated event.
Hosted by the Smithfield Rotary Club, with proceeds benefiting local charitable organizations, this inaugural year will attract approximately 2000 wine and brew lovers, not just from Smithfield, but Hampton Roads and beyond. The weekend event’s consist of the festival on Saturday, and other local establishments offerings of related events (dining, entertainment, wine seminars, kayaking and more…) Friday thru Sunday. This combined effort will provide locals, as well as visitors, with opportunities to enjoy the Ham, History, Hospitality and HeART our endearing historic port town is known and loved for.
Featured are some of your favorite Virginia wineries and in the Organic Village, wines from across the county that are sustainably or organically produced. Local brews, culinary delights and upscale retail vendors, along with a full day of live music entertainment make the event one that is already creating a buzz of energy!
