2012 begins with a series of weekly Regional Tastings. This is an opportunity to learn about the region and taste wines that make the region. The tastings will include 4-5 wines, regional information, tasting notes and a cheese plate to complement the region.

The tastings will be 17.50/person (unless otherwise specified) and once you have attended 5 tastings you will receive a Gift Certificate for 15.00 good for the Bistro upon your next visit. This can be done by keeping track on a card or checking in on Foursquare. RSVP required.

This week, we are heading to Rioja, Spain. Strategically placed between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, this region produces the majority of its acclaimed red wines from the Tempranillo grape. Amazingly, white wine only accounts for about 10% of the total wine production in the Rioja region. If you want to learn more about this region and “take a tour”, we would love to be your guide!
