The Way Out Wineries will celebrate the Mardi Gras season with a weekend-long celebration that offers visitors the chance to taste award-winning Texas wines, enjoy Cajun-styled food and wine pairings while they party through a self-directed tour of seven Central Texas wineries. The WOW Road Trips are a unique approach to the traditional wine trail weekends and offer visitors genuine Texas hospitality and a chance to tour some of Texas prettiest countryside.

Tickets are now on sale at www.WayOutWineries.org and are $25/person. Each ticket holder is entitled to one souvenir tasting glass, wine tasting at each of the Way Out Wineries, a special wine and food pairing at each winery and the chance to draw doubloon-style coins of varying denominations that can be used for any purchase during the weekend. Each of the seven wineries will be open for Road Trip visitors from 10 to 6pm on Friday and Saturday and from noon until 5pm on Sunday, February, 10, 11 & 12, 2012, and tour participants can choose to start their tour at any of the wineries, where they will receive their souvenir glass.

The WOW Road Trips have been a popular series of Wine Trail weekend for many years, and have a loyal following of "Road Trippers" who have made nearly every Road Trip and have forged friendships with winery owners and other tour participants.
