Dinner out in New York City: one of life's great pleasures…unless the sight of the wine list makes you hyperventilate and beg the gods for mercy. Sometimes the evening hangs in the balance, especially at a date or business dinner. You want to appear confident; most importantly you need to make the proper selection(s). But if you are not accustomed to being in the "Wine Hot Seat," how do you overcome? We've got some recipes for success no matter what kind of wines you like or who you might be entertaining, and we will also tackle some common questions like: "Do I have to get cabernet at a steakhouse?" "I'm ordering fish, but I only like red wines, what do I do?" In case you thought this session was all talk, far from it. We will taste and discuss 6 different wine selections, each from a category that typically goes unnoticed and/or is underpriced on wine lists. Getting a great deal on the appropriate bottle will be much easier from now on...
