Food trends come and go but the recent rebirth of the meatball is a sensation that is sweeping the nation, including the annual Meatball Madness event at our sister event, Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival. Join NYC’s Meatball Shop Chef/Co-owner Daniel Holzman and international wine personality Mark Oldman as they showcase different versions of spherical succulents and the wines that pair well with them. Daniel is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and has worked under the tutelage of such culinary luminaries as Eric Ripert, Wylie Dufresne and Sam Mason. Mark’s book Oldman’s Brave New World of Wine won the 2011 Georges Duboeuf Best New Wine Book of the Year Award. The Festival’s lifestyle seminars are a great place to start or supplement your wine and pairing education. All attendees will receive a complimentary copy of Daniel Holzman and Michael Chernow’s THE MEATBALL SHOP COOKBOOK.
