Maximilian Riedel, 11th generation of this Austrian glassmaking dynasty, will lead a glass tasting featuring the new “Key to Wine” glass set. Taste and compare two different grape varietals in different Riedel grape-specific shapes. At the end of the tasting, the “Key to Wine” glasses are yours to keep. Key to Wine” includes one of each of the most popular varietal-specific glasses from Riedel’s “O” series - Chardonnay (Montrachet), Riesling/ Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir (Burgundy Red), Cabernet Sauvignon/ Merlot (Bordeaux) and Shiraz/Syrah. Riedel’s “O” series is the ground-breaking brainchild of Maximilian J. Riedel, CEO of Riedel USA (11th generation). Conceived in 2004, the “O” series grabbed the attention of the wine and tabletop industries as the first-ever grape varietal specific stemless glassware.
