Sheldrake Point on Seneca invites you to an inaugural celebration of winter and the splendor it brings to the glass - Ice Wine. Riesling and Cabernet Franc Ice wines will be presented with specially selected savory and sweet foods by Local purveyors. Including The Piggery, Lively Run Goat Dairy, Preliminaires Chocolat and Man in the Moon Bakery. Each purveyor will present a pairing and will share the story of their products. These foods will also be available for purchase.
The story of Ice Wine is best told through the experience of tasting. Bob Madill will lead a relaxing but informative vertical tasting of 2002, 2004, 2008 and 2012 Riesling Ice Wine from our Estate vineyard.
