Save the date to celebrate Texas wine and food on the Square in Georgetown from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2012!  Enjoy an evening of downtown shopping while sampling Texas’ top wines and dining on local restaurants’ savory bites at the Georgetown Swirl.  Live jazz music on the steps of the Williamson County Courthouse will help set the fun and festive mood.  Shoppers can also find one-of-a-kind gifts at participating retailers while sampling rich desserts and coffees.

Only 350 tickets will be sold keeping the event an intimate gathering.  Tickets are being sold online at Swirl.Georgetown.org for $30 each.  State Board of Education Member Dr. Marsha and Bryan Farney will serve as this year’s honorary event chairs.  Event proceeds will help provide funding for the Georgetown Main Street Program’s Façade & Sign Grant Program. Through this program, building and business owners may obtain matching grants for the improvement of downtown signage and facades, while keeping the building’s historical integrity.
