Beyond a book signing... Reading between the Wines is an intimate evening celebrating literacy and promoting brighter futures for families in Central Florida!

Author Lisa See Makes a Guest Appearance to Help Raise Support for Adult Literacy Education at Reading between the Wines on Thursday, March 1st, 2012

Critically acclaimed and bestselling author, Lisa See (www.lisasee.com), will mingle with guests and sign books at Reading Between the Wines presented by Bank of America on March 1st starting at 6:00pm at TBA. The author’s appearance will be accompanied by a wine tasting, food tasting and silent auction. Tickets to the event are $75 per person and are available online at www.adultliteracyleague.org or by calling 407-422- 1540. Dress is business casual.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Adult Literacy League, the premier provider of adult literacy services in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties. The organization provides adult basic education and English language literacy through one-to-one tutoring and classes. The League currently serves 1,000 adult learners on a weekly basis. In addition, the organization serves the early literacy needs of more than 500 low-income, pre-school children through its Family Literacy Program, “Read to Me!” That’s over 80% growth from last year’s count of more than 300!

To benefit the literacy services of Adult Literacy League, Lisa See will present and discuss her incredible written work, including her newest book, Dreams of Joy (May 2011)
