Want to learn more about Italian wines but don't know where to start? Join Volterra Sommelier David Burgess and Dish it up! Wine Ambassador Nancy Croisier for a fantastic tour of Italy through wine. We'll taste Italian varietals from their homeland and from the Northwest side by side including Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, and Barbera. Experience the difference between old world and new for yourself. Small bites including polenta and pizza with different toppings will be served so that you can assess which foods pair best with the wine. You will you receive tips for pairing these wines with food at home so that you can continue your exploration.
