We are so bombarded with New World wines that it is easy to everlook the established Old World countries, the great advances that have been made in wine production and the superb wines produced by France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany and Austria amongst others.
This is your opportunity to learn more about the producing regions, grape varieties, characteristics and variety of European wines. As we taste our way through 15 wines, interspersed with a great 3-course lunch, throughout the day we examine all the facets of European wine you need to know to rapidly increase your choice, understanding and enjoyment of wines.
A typical schedule is:
1030 Welcome drink and intro to the day
