A valuable compliment to the Foundation Level 1 Award and ideal for individuals who have completed the Intermediate Level 2 Award and wish to apply their knowledge in a hospitality setting.

This qualification builds on the knowledge and skills taught in the Level 1 Award in Wines, and shows how these can be used in a restaurant workplace. It is ideal for anyone who needs to gain basic skills in wine service, including those wishing to make their first steps into a career as a sommelier.

To achieve this certificate, the candidate must complete the training seminar, successfully demonstrate understanding of correct procedures in customer & wine service, done through a role play presentation.

Perfect for a restaurant or restaurant group, this course's format is done as a one day seminar with the presentation examination done at the conclusion of the day's activities.

A WSET (Wine & Spirits Education Trust) professional certificate for course completion will be provided for you after submission of your examination is submitted to the WSET in the UK.

Lastly, income tax receipts are issued in February to all students for the applicable tax year.
