Calling all food and wine aficionados! The American Fine Wine Competition Gala, presented by Patriot National Insurance Group, begins with a Signature “Sparkling Reception,” featuring award-winning sparkling and white wines, a silent auction boasting hundreds of wines from across the country signed by the winemakers, and exciting entertainment. Next up are over 600 wines to taste while enjoying a mouthwatering five-course gourmet dinner. The main course will be prepared live by renowned Chef Emeril Lagasse, and eight lucky guests will be selected from a lottery to join Emeril onstage while he cooks. A spectacular live auction hosted by famed Late Night with David Letterman announcer Alan Kalter will follow. Dayve Stewart and the Vibe will provide entertainment. Proceeds from the night will benefit the Diabetes Research Institute at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and the Golden Bell Education Foundation.
