Does Wine Improve With Age Dinner (the wines age, not yours)? 

On Friday at 5:30pm we will taste 7 years of Turley artisinal Zinfandels produced from small vineyards of old vines from some of California's best vineyards. The wines will be served with light appetizers. The Tasting and appetizers are $85.00.00 per person (plus tax). Minimum number of participants needed to open these fine wines.

On Saturday evening we will offer a dinner featuring mature wines. We have dug into our cellar to find wines at their peak - showing great tertiary aromas and characteristics as well as youth and fruit. The dinner offers an exquisite pairing of these old wines with some wonderful organic foods. Dinner and wines $140 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Minimum number of participants needed to open these fine wines. Dinner and wines are $140.00 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Wine-thirty starting at 6;30; dinner seating at 7:00pm. Reservations required.

 Aperitif: Gougere; Gruyere Cheese Pastry, 1999 Rosell Boher, Grand Cuvée Millésimée, Mendoza, Argentina (Sparkling Wine)

Appetizer: Peaky Toe Crab Cake with Lemon Scented Aioli and Smoked Pepper Paint, 1997 Ken Wright Canary Hill Vineyards Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley OR

 Appetizer: Homemade Spinach Ravioli Filled with Smoked Wild Mushrooms & Mascarpone, with Tomato Gremolata & Fresh Herbs, 1999 Penfolds Kalimna Shiraz, South Australia

 Salad: Fresh Spring Greens with Fried Almond Goat Brie, Candied Pecans and Shallots with Los Villares Sweet Pedro Ximenez Vinaigrette (aged 25 years), Spain

 Intermezzo: Zinfandel and Rose Petal Sorbet

The Beechwood Inn is Georgia's Premier Wine Country Inn and offers luxury lodging in a rustic mountain setting. The Inn is nestled among 100 year-old terraced gardens overlooking Black Rock Mountain.
