Wine OR Wine & Food
Join two of America’s most respected culinary authors for a comprehensive and entertaining evening uncorking the world of wine for food lovers.
Spend a fun evening learning, tasting and pairing various wines and foods and leave with a signed copy of The Food Lover’s Guide to Wine, included in your ticket fee. Tickets from $50.
You'll have the opportunity to get your wine questions answered by former Washington Post wine columnists Karen Page and Andrew Dornenburg. They are the authors of The Food Lover’s Guide to Wine, which was named the "#1 Wine Book of 2011" based on 195 year-end "Best Of" lists (including those of the Chicago Tribune, Huffington Post, LA Weekly, Minneapolis Star Tribune, San Francisco Chronicle, and the Wall Street Journal) compiled by the website EatYourBooks.com. The book was a 2011 Gourmand Wine Book Award winner for the United States and is one of four books shortlisted for the global wine book award being announced on March 6th in Paris.
Page and Dornenburg also co-authored the 100,000+ copy bestsellers The Flavor Bible, Culinary Artistry and Becoming a Chef as well as the IACP "Cookbook of the Year" and the Georges Duboeuf "Wine Book of the Year" What to Drink with What You Eat.
The couple has been interviewed by Matt Lauer of "Today" and Juju Chang of "Good Morning America," and has been featured on countless radio and TV shows across North America. They live in New York City.
