The Advanced Certificate Course is recommended for students who have earned the Intermediate Certificate or who have a broad knowledge of wine and have good experience in tasting. This course covers the major wine regions of the world in much more depth than the Intermediate Course, and includes more detailed study of viticulture and vinification. Lectures and discussions are supplemented with slides, videos, and in-depth tastings of more than ninety wines. This course will enable students to describe the characteristics of the major wines and spirits of the world and to explain the key factors influencing those characteristics. It will also provide students with strong knowledge of the attributes of all of the worldís significant wine regions. The culminating exam includes multiple-choice and short-answer questions, as well as a blind tasting of one wine. Successful candidates will receive the Advanced Certificate of the WSET, which is a prerequisite for the two-year Diploma Program. The tuition includes a complete study pack, text book, and exam fees. NO DISCOUNTS APPLY. Some classes may be conducted by guest lecturers.

All major credit cards or a check is accepted. *WSET Advanced Certificate is 15 sessions + Exam. The class runs from Feb. 28 - June 5. The exam will be held on June 19.
