The Wine & Spirit Education Trust Intermediate Certificate Level 2 course is an outstanding overview of the wines and spirits of the world. It provides a foundation to understanding the wine & spirits of the world.
This class covers major wine producing regions, wine grapes, factors affecting quality and style, grape growing, winemaking, wine service, storage, matching food & wine, and the WSET systematic approach to tasting wine.
Each week you will taste samples of 8-10 wines. The course consists of 3 hour classes, once a week, for 5 weeks; with an exam on the 6th week. The class fee includes: WSET course book, study guide, guide to the systematic approach to tasting wine, 5 class lectures, copies of the class lecture, practice quizzes, wine, final exam (1 hour – 50 questions multiple choice), and, upon passing, the WSET certificate.
