The Blacksburg Partnership announces the 4th annual Blacksburg Fork and Cork- a food, wine, and art festival to be held Saturday, April 28, 2012 at First and Main Shopping District. Attendees will enjoy wines from 20+ Virginia wineries and view the work of two dozen artists. Delicious food from local restaurants will be abundant, and multiple music groups will provide smooth tunes throughout the day.

“The Fork” will be emphasized in two special cooking tents: “Chef Showcase”, exhibiting the fine artwork of local chefs with creative edible creations, and “Chef 2 Chef”, providing bragging rights to one of two chefs competing throughout the day to make the perfect dish using a common ingredient. The “Wine Racket” will feature tidbits about the day’s celebrated beverage - wine! The 2nd annual Can Do! will also take place in conjunction with the festival, with teams creating artistic sculptures made purely out of non-perishable food items. The food from the sculptures and festival attendees’ donations will be donated to local food banks. Come join us for the 4th annual Blacksburg Fork and Cork, as we make it the best one yet!
