The French Wine Society (FWS) programs are some of the finest developed that we know of, and IWEG is proud to be the first in the area to offer them! The FWS programs are endorsed by Wines of France/French National Wine Office, and the courses are designed to give you the most complete and current understanding of France's fine wines, through visual presentation, and of course tasting a wide range of French wines!

This is an nine week course, running on Tuesday evenings at George Brown College, located in downtown Toronto. Certification issued by the French Wine Society is included in the tuition fee, and tax receipts are sent out in February for the applicable year to everyone registered. 

Pre-requisite for enrolment in this new course is either the WSET Level 2 in Wines & Spirits, or other equivalent wine certification.

The French Wine Regions covered each night are:

1) Alsace

2) Bordeaux

3) Beaujolais

4) Burgundy

5) Champagne

6) Loire Valley

7) Southern Franc

8) Rhône Valley

9) Final Exam
