Sauvignon Blanc. Many of us know it as the sharp, bright, crisp, acidic,
aromatic, excellent food pairing wine from New Zealand. It also bottled under
many other names including a Sancerre, a White Bordeaux,
a Pouilly-Fumé, or
a Fume Blanc. This is one of those grapes that in an around-the-world-tasting
you will learn a lot about world class regions of wine that all produce very
different wines all from the same grape.
Join us in a fun, relaxed, interactive environment to taste and learn about Sauvignon Blancs from top producing regions around the world. Walk away with an understanding of what influences the differences amongst them, how to find and choose those styles that you prefer, and pair appropriately with food.
