Dish du Jour Magazine, the creators of the "Burger Battle of the Boroughs" and "The Best Meatball of the Boroughs" competitions are now preparing for their upcoming 9th Annual Food & Wine Tasting Event, The Cuisine of Queens & Beyond.
Featuring 50 tables with restaurants, wines, spirts, beers and desserts, this year's event offers not only an array of tastings, but also a 5 ingredient cooking challenge.
If you think you can cook and would like to join acclaimed chefs Rocco Sacramone of Trattoria L'incontro in Astoria, and Andrea Beaman, natural foods chef, author, television host and contender on Bravo's Top Chef Season One, on stage for a fall cooking challenge, join us at Dish du Jour Magazine's 9th annual Food and Wine Gala. One VIP ticket holder will be chosen at random to bring their culinary skills to the table at the event and create a dish from 5 ingredients supplied on the spot! The chosen contender will win a one-hundred fifty dollar gift card, dinner for two at the notable Trattoria L'incontro, a personal coaching session for healthy living with Andrea, autographed copies of Andrea's books and gift baskets of gourmet products and spirits.
