Guests will enjoy an evening of wine, music, and food aboard the Niles Canyon Railway for a train journey back in time to an era of opulent travel and service. Sample our newly released ’09 Sauvignon Blanc and ’08 Reserve Zinfandel, paired with wonderful foods, in the splendor of the recently restored art deco lounge car that is part of the Golden Gate Railroad Museum’s collection. Enjoy the music of "Off The Record," a local acoustic rock, folk, and blues trio, as they perform from their large and varied repertory of songs.
In celebration of the upcoming harvest, we also will take the time to sample some of our past vintages, pouring some long sold-out favorite memories from our library. This will be a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with friends, and meet fellow passengers who enjoy great wine, music, and train travel.
Our beautiful menu will feature:
Crostini With Cambazola And Caramelized Fresh Pear topped with a spicy walnut
Tequila Glazed Spicy Shrimp with housemade yellow and blue corn tortilla chips and avocado cream
Fresh Vietnamese Spring Rolls - vegetarian rice paper roll with crisp vegetables with Asian dipping sauce
Involtini Of Bresaola - thinly sliced beef, rolled with smoked mozzarella, arugula, roasted red pepper
Marinated And Grilled Beef Tenderloin On Rolls with field greens and horseradish crème fraiche
Thai-marinated Chicken Satay with spicy peanut sauce, chai and candied orange
Miniature Venezuelan Chocolate Fudge Cake

The event is $65 for Occasio Society members and $75 for non-members, all inclusive.
