Local Wine Events

This year for our annual fundraising party, we’ll be going a little more casual than usual. In honor of all of the wonderful sports teams who call New Orleans home we’re throwing a tailgating party! It’s a time-honored Southern tradition, and we’re asking some of the city’s best and brightest chefs to present a sophisticated version of traditional tailgating food. We’re also inviting local athletes, like the Big Easy Roller Girls, to hang out and explore the museum, so you’ll get to schmooze with them and maybe get a couple autographs or two!

Proceeds from the party will go directly towards supporting our Clearinghouse for Research on the Cultural Impact of the 2010 Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and our efforts to document the impact on the Southern community.

This is a family friendly event, and children under 12 will be allowed in for free.

Music will be provided by Gal Holiday and the Honky Tonk Revue
