Wine OR Wine & Food
World-class, cellar-worthy wine is hand-crafted just a stone’s throw from New York City. On September 24 and 25, join the wineries of Eastern Long Island for the Fall harvest, explore local flavors, and bid on exceptional, food-friendly wines from one of the world’s most exciting, emerging regions. HARVEST is presented by the Wine Spectator and benefits East End Hospice and the Peconic Land Trust.
- 10-Mile Dinners: Exclusive vintner dinners at spectacular private locations across the East End
- The Wine Salon: Educational and intellectual programs on winemaking, tasting, cooking and more; at wineries and other locations around the region
- Festival Tasting: A grand tasting of wine and seasonal, local dishes; silent auction of regional treasures
- Gala Dinner and Live Auction: Live auction of Long Island wines; farm-to-table dinner created by premier East End chefs Claudia Fleming and Gerry Hayden (North Fork Table and Inn) and Keith Luce (Jedediah Hawkins Inn); music by Matt Marshak
HARVEST is organized by the Long Island Merlot Alliance and Long Island Wine Council, with support from the New York Wine and Grape Foundation.
