For as long as we’ve been in the wine business, people who know us are aware that we’re both Riesling freaks. For us, great Rieslings, in their many forms, stand proudly among the towering wines on the planet. Yet, we stand perplexed that our view of Riesling is not more widely shared.
How many times have we touted the virtues of expressive, powerful, complex, thrillingly delicious dry Rieslings of Alsace? Or the aristocratic, brilliant, food-friendly Rieslings of Austria? And let’s not forget the great Rieslings of Germany, from dry to sweet, as this grape dominates the wine landscape in that country. Not to mention terrific Rieslings from other regions as well.
This evening the spotlight will always shine on Riesling, as we’ve created a tasting that will give you a mega-dose of great Riesling to forever change your buying habits. Those who already love Rieslings are welcome, too.
