As winter slowly makes its retreat, lovers of exceptional food and fine wines always eagerly anticipate the spring wine dinners at the Riverworks in Newmarket. This year’s edition, scheduled for Thursday, March 25, will definitely be worth the wait, as Executive Chef T.J. Bernard plans a tour of the south of France.
Each of the four courses, featuring seasonal ingredients, will be paired with a wine from the region, each selected by Mr. Bernard and Certified Sommelier Sarah MacKinley, Seacoast Sales Representative for the Perfecta Wine Company. Ms. MacKinley will introduce the wines, provide commentary, and answer questions.
Featured wines include a 2007 Terre des Papes Cotes du Rhone, a 2007 Chateau Beauchene Cotes du Rhone Villages, Pigmentum White (Gasconne), and Pigmentum Malbec (Cahors).
