Come and Join us for a tasting of boutique wines from three different “terroirs”:
-
Xavier Flouret Kavalier 2007: Riesling Kabinett Trocken from Mosel-Saar in Germany. This wine is made by the famous winemaker Johannes Selbach whose family has been growing vines since 1661. It is an elegant bouquet of aromatic apples on the nose. A generous fruit and crisp acidity on the palate. Perfect wine for Spring!
- Xavier Flouret Fe 2001: 90% Tempranillo, 5% Mazuelo and 5% graciano, from Rioja Alavesa Reserva (Spain). The vintage 2001 is one of the best vintages in Spain from the past 10 years. Well rounded, fruity aromas of blackberries and currants, with notes of toast and chocolate, this wine deserves to be tasted.
- Xavier Flouret Rouge Noir 2006: 100% Pinot Noir from Menetou-Salon Loire Valley in France. This wine is the best kept secret of the Loire Valley region. It has a specific earthiness, red fruit notes with subtle oak flavors to end on a clean finish. Perfect for barbecues.
We are looking forward to seeing you at Columbus Wines & Spirits!
