Would you like to taste fine wine and also support two great causes?
A small group of wine aficionados are getting together to enjoy both new and old world wines. The purpose is to benefit Morris Animal Refuge and PAWS in Philadelphia. Please support the causes and join us.
We'll have about 8 wines for the tasting. One of our feature wines is the 1988 Haut-Brion.
The event is at Tria Fermentation School in Center City Philadelphia on Thursday, March 25th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tria provides the perfect intimate setting for this opportunity. Light snacks will be served.
Shawn Dore, world renown sommelier and expert on Burgundy and Bordeaux wines, will lead the tasting. Shawn is a regular invited guest sommelier at such world class wine and food events such as Wine Spectator, Wine Experience, Master's of Food & Wine, La Paulee and World of Pinot Noir.
Space is limited as there are only 24 seats. A donation of $85 is required to secure your reservation. All proceeds for the benefit event will go to Morris and PAWS. The organizers are not retaining any money.
To secure your reservation purchase a ticket through this site. If you have questions about the event contact Rex Dawson at rexskate@comcast.net or call 215.266.7731. Once your ticket is purchased your space is confirmed. The tasting benefit will sell out quickly so please contact me now to reserve.
Attention collectors...if you would also like to donate fine wine to the benefit event please contact me to discuss. The wine line-up is being planned now so it's perfect timing!
