The First Williamsburg Wine & Food Festival at Colonial Heritage,

taking  place May 22 & 23, 2010.

Colonial Heritage is a real estate up-market resort area including a golf course, located off Route 60, about 5 miles from the Colonial Williamsburg, which makes it the ideal location with the right target market to attract from 3,000 to 8,000 attendees. 

As a bonus Christopher Cross will perform live on stage Saturday evening

 at 7:30pm.

The organizer is inviting 0 VA wineries to participate, pour their wines and sell wines to the attendees. Selected gourmet food vendors will be on hand to sell their food items and perform cooking demonstrations through out the entire weekend. Also on stage will be a series of wine and food educational seminars conducted by Virginia winemakers and wine aficionados.  The location and the advertising/ media program suggests attendees from the upper echelon market traveling from as far as Baltimore and Raleigh, NC. All proceeds from this festival benefit the Colonial Heritage Homeowners Association in support of many local charities.  They have asked for the assistance of the Williamsburg Winery to ensure compliance and attention to all the details that make the success of a festival.
